How it works

Book a free discovery call.
Start with a 30 minute online conversation with Sue, at a time that suits you. The purpose is to discuss your needs and to answer all your questions. Coaching is a very personal process and we want to make sure there is strong compatibility between you and your coach.

Choose your coaching package.
Choose a package to suit your needs. Three months will get you started and longer packages give you ongoing support as you manage the changes you want to make. We strongly recommend fortnightly sessions where possible to help maintain momentum.

Get started on your journey.
Sue uses a range of techniques and tools to help you gain insight into the things that need to change, and generate momentum on the changes you want to make. Whether online or in person, Sue offers a confidential, non-judgmental, and safe space.

What is coaching anyway?
The coach’s role is to help deepen your understanding of yourself and the opportunities for taking action toward the future you want for yourself.
A key belief that underpins coaching is that we already have the answers we need within us. A coach's role is to help the client find these answers. This is done through a number of conversational techniques including questioning, active listening, observation, appreciative inquiry and reflecting back. When these techniques are used, the client gains greater self-awareness and often an insight they hadn’t seen previously. Having a non-biased, non-judgmental person available to provide focused attention gives the client space to understand how to move forward.
To ensure progress is being made, coaching often focuses on goal-setting. Clients will typically be encouraged to create a list of action points following a session so they know what steps are needed to keep moving forward . We recommend coaching sessions are held fortnightly. This allows enough time for you to do the work in between sessions without it being overwhelming. It also means your sessions are close enough together that you don’t lose momentum.
Coaching is not therapy and we will never tell you what to do. It is time out from your business as usual, whatever that is, and is fully dedicated to your exploration.
The values we hold dearly in coaching are respect, openness, compassion, empathy and speaking the truth – sometimes this will mean gently challenging you or helping you re-frame the story you’re telling yourself. And with that, we take a strengths based approach. We assume strength and capability on your part and believe that every situation has possibilities.
